Sports ministry is designed to build community, foster
growth, get people connected to Jesus, while still being
able to compete in a fun friendly atmosphere.

Get in the Game
Being a young church with young people can make it difficult
to find common ground since most of us come from different
backgrounds, lifestyles, and experiences. Sports has
a unique way of bringing people together from all walks
of life. “Getting in the Game” is sometimes difficult
because it is unknown territory for some of us. Our
Sports Ministry is designed to make that easier and
encourage you to step out of your comfort zone and be
apart of something magnificent that God is doing in
our church.
Who Got Game?
Everybody from all ages are welcome to our events from
my grandfather to my baby nephew. It is great to see
families play sports together and see the unity that
it brings because being in a family is the ultimate
team. It is a place for you to bring coworkers, family,
friends, old acquaintances, and even people that you
meet on the street. We want people to know that Christians
can be fun and competitive, but that we also care about
them and are interested in knowing them.
What is the Game?
We will be having events starting in June with our first
event being basketball after church at 3pm in the Existence
parking lot. We will also be having softball, volleyball,
football, ultimate Frisbee, and many other events in
the coming months. One of our potential leaders suggested
doing weekly events such as getting some people to go
surfing regularly or potentially going to the beach
to play volleyball every week. These are all great ideas
and we would love to hear from you.
