Welcome to Couple's Life! If you are in a serious dating relationship, are engaged or married, journey with us!

If you have kids, no problem. Child care is provided for kids of all ages. We meet at the church on Thursdays at 6:30 p.m.. Can't wait to have you... (The last Thursday of each month we're off to a group date night, so contact Chad to find out which restaurant to meet us.)

We'd love to get to know you! And, we believe that it's important for couples to build relationships with other couples. Whether you're in year one of your marriage, or eighty-one (we're not sure if that's likely but...), we hope you get involved. We'd love to journey with you!

Dave & Amanda
Dave and Amanda Neal were married on May 28, 2006, in Bakersfield, California. Dave is a Marketing Representative at Interface, Inc, and Amanda works as an Accountant for PricewaterhouseCoopers. When Dave isn't working out and Amanda isn't working, they enjoy watching movies, trying new restaurants, cooking, and going to the beach.

John & Anna
John and Anna Runyan were married July 22nd, 2006 in Minneapolis, MN. The Runyans both graduated from Point Loma Nazarene University and now live in Rancho Penasquitos. Currently, John is an Advisor for the Graduate Programs at PLNU and Anna works as a Consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton. In their spare time, they both enjoy playing tennis, watching movies and cooking.

John and Anna have attended Existence Church for four years and have been involved with Couples Ministry for one year. They are excited about connecting newer and older couples at Existence and giving Existence Couples a support network.

Matt & Mackenzie
Matt and Mackenzie Sterling were married June 21, 2003 in San Luis Obispo, CA. The Sterlings met at and graduated from Cal Poly State University, married one year after graduation and then lived in San Luis Obispo for 2.5 years. They moved to San Diego in January 2006 and started attending Existence that February. They now live in Sabre Springs (just north of Scripps Ranch). Matt is a 5th Grade Teacher at Stone Ranch Elementary in 4S Ranch and Mackenzie is the Insurance Benefits Assistant in Personnel at Poway Unified School District. They enjoy spending time with Mackenzie's family, hanging out with friends, playing games, watching movies and also being outdoors enjoying San Diego.

Matt and Mackenzie are each in a Life Group and have been involved with Couples Ministry since Jan. 2007. They enjoy encouraging other couples and look forward to planning awesome, enriching events for the Couples Ministry.

Chad Furlong
Chad has been a pastor since his ordination in 1996. He has worked primarily with college students, until starting the San Diego Church in 2004. He enjoys surfing, writing, and is currently furthering his education. Chad and Nicole reside in San Diego, CA with their 8 year-old daughter Alex.
